2024 National Blue Ribbon School
Craig Elementary was honored to be named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School for Outstanding Academic Achievement. National Blue Ribbon Schools is the United States Department of Education’s award program honoring high-performing schools and schools that are making great strides in closing achievement gaps. The Georgia Shape Honor Roll Award recognizes elementary, middle and high schools for their dedication to creating a healthy school environment and a culture of wellness for staff, students and community. Our PE and Health teachers work to instill lifelong healthy habits for our students, staff and community. Sports & fitness clubs, such as Colt Running Club, girls flag football team, volleyball teams for staff and students, and much more, help extend the activity beyond the school day.

- Bronze Statewide Accountability System Award School for Highest Performing. Highest Performing schools earned a three-year average CCRPI content mastery score in at least the 93rd percentile in the state.
2022-2023:
- Craig Elementary School was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education with Operational status for its implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in the last school year. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for students who exhibited appropriate school conduct.
- Craig Elementary School was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as a 2022-2023 Literacy Leader for producing exceptional achievement, 90% or more of our 3rd grade students are reading at grade level.
2023-2024:
