Important Reminders
No student check outs are allowed after 2:00 pm.
Check out takes time! Please allow at least 15 minutes to check your child out. Our building is large and students are often not in their classroom.
Transportation changes must be made by noon.
For a temporary transportation change, please use THIS FORM. For transportation changes lasting more than one week, visit the Transportation Changes section below.

A Temporary Transportation Change allows parents to change their child's transportation from school ffor a single day or a few days
A Daycare Verification Form allows parents to verify their child attends an off-site daycare and is transported there by a GCPS bus.
The Elementary Parent Transportation Authorization Forms allows parents to indicate how their child will be transported to and from school. This form can be found in other languages by clicking here.

Bus Riders
Buses dismiss from Craig in one load most days. If it is actively raining during bus dismissal, buses will be loaded under the awning and dismissed in multiple loads.
Students in grades K and 1st must be met by an adult at their bus stop. For more information on GCPS bus policies and bus safety, visit the GCPS Transportation page.

Day Care Facilities
There are many day cares in our community which provide transportation services to and from Craig Elementary. Contact information for these daycare facilities can be found in the link below.
If your child attends a Day Care, you will also need to submit a verification form with your transportation change form.
G.A.S.P. (on-site child care)
Craig also offers on-site after-school care through GASP. Students enrolled in GASP are supervised at Craig Elementary until they are picked up. More information about GASP can be found HERE.
